My Final Final

And here it is. I didn't get done on it all I wanted but there's a bit more than before. Namely this stuff grows up on the bottom, it's hard to see this small but it's supposed to be some kind of fungus stuff. Sadly I didn't have time to touch up anything other than the organic growing at the beginning and the fire, so no continuous detail inbetween (sorry Ryan, but thanks for your feedback).
Anywho, I really enjoyed the class and learned a great deal and don't feel nearly as rusty as I did 4 months ago, so yay! Now I got a month to do my own stuff, so stay posted people.

Also, Merry Christmas :)

Final WIP

This project is due next week Dec 9 and I wanted to show everyone how it's coming so far. I'm mainly concerned with the growth section at the beginning and the fire, since it is an effects animation course. I want to add a bunch more cool viney growth stuff to happen around the main growth and wanted ideas and critiques of what I have so far (especially from you fellow artists out there).
Take a look and give me some feedback, thanks.

Smokey Mediocrity

This one got a little out of my hands I feel. I got lost in details and the it controlled me more than I controlled it. The assignment was to make linear smoke with a face that appeared and laughed. So there you go.

Curse you Blogger!

So it kinda annoys me that Blogger uploads my videos so tiny, I assume it just shrinks them down to whatever tiny size it's happy with and as far as I know you can't view them any bigger. (On the plus side it makes them look better at such a tiny size) In response to this I have my videos up on Youtube at:

So if you care to see them any bigger you can go over there and take a look...and see the flaws much easier.

Ka Boom!!!

Assignment #2. I was a little more pressed for time on this one, hence the no color and sketchy roughness, but I'm happy with the motion and timing for the most part. I realize there's probably no one that knows I have this blog so I'll get word out and then maybe I'll get some feedback.

Water Splash

Here's my 1st assignment in my animation class- a water splash. I like doing this art thing again, I'll continue to post more as I finish them. Next will be an explosion!!! Something will fly into the ground from the sky and explode. Any preferences on what the object should be that explodes on impact?
